mechanism of action: binds epidermal growth factor receptors then inhibits cell growth and survival
Clarithromycin (Biaxin)
MAC prophylaxis (in HIV patients) 500mg bid
H.Pylori 500mg bid for 10-14 days (with amoxycillin or metronidazole + PPI)
Biaxin XL: (500mg ER) acute maxilary sinusitis 1G qd for 14 days
chronic bronchitis 1G for 7days
CAP 1G 7days
